Discussing Galatians, Stern writes that "some branches of Christianity teach that the ethical Law remains, while the civil and ceremonial statutes have been done away with. This volume gather the most relevant information into one, easy-to-use reference. Smith's article, "Errant Aorist Interpreters," published in Grace Theological Journal 2.2 (Fall 1981) 205-226, seeks to "demythologize" the aorist tense. The material on the number of the Beast (666) is itself worth the (very high) price of the book. Johnson published an annotated edition of the New Testament (with King James and Revised Versions in parallel columns) that carried the name The People’s New Testament with Notes.
